Our final meeting & workshop highlights!

From the 20th of September to the 21st of September, Switch2Save celebrated the workshop on Smart & Efficient Building Envelopes: Lessons Learned & Future Prospects and the final meeting at Impact Hub Athens.

20th of September – We celebrated the workshop on Smart & Efficient Building Envelopes: Lessons Learned & Future Prospects and the final meeting at Impact Hub Athens.

Thanks to National Technical University of Athens to host and organize such a nice event! It was an incredible day filled with knowledge-sharing, thought-provoking discussions, and groundbreaking ideas for the future of building envelopes.

Also, the attendees had the opportunity to meet the brilliant students behind the award-winning “Smart Stores” project. Moreover, the line-up was amazing: we had a very exciting presentations in two different sessions –  for the Switch2Save project and for the end-user perspective – where the expert speakers illuminate the path forward.

But the magic didn’t stop there! We also embarked on a journey to Nikaia Hospital and the National Technical University of Athens test site, where we observed the installation of thermochromic and electrochromic windows and witnessed the amazing work that’s been accomplished.

21st of September – We had the final meeting with the partners and the Project Adviser who was present during the session.

The partners presented their work packages, the next steps of the project were discussed and the Project Adviser gave her feedback about the project.
