Pre-announcement: Architectural Design Competition

In the context of Switch2Save project and aiming to demonstrate replicability of the developed technologies, an open international architectural design competition will be held. The competition will be launched in February 2022, inviting young architects and architectural students to submit a novel (Non- Residential) building design, enabled by EC/TC IGUs.

A training event, also available online, will be organized as launch of the design competition. During this event technical information about the Switch2Save IGUs will be presented. The deadline for submissions will be the end of July 2022, while the awards will be announced in September 2022. 

The jury will be looking for an innovative approach for the integration of EC/TC IGUs in buildings, having in mind not only technical performance and comfort parameters, but also the aesthetic integration of the IGUs.
